This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
